Over the years the NGO has partnered with many government and non-government organisations to garner support for the elder care needs.
The team reaches out to large number of elderly citizens to understand the pain points of the elders in various areas and then works in association with volunteers and other support organisations in creating a viable solution.
The organization also acts as a change agent by working both with elderly and the younger generations and try to bridge the gap.
Harikrit conducts workshops, talks, seminars and uses multiple media outlets to
- Bring our elders to speed by teaching and explaining them the changing technology so that they can continue to stay self-dependent.
- Spread awareness regarding the latest government schemes and policies that are senior citizen friendly.
- Assist elders find peer group and promote the concept of Saanjhi Saanjh (collective living).
- Creating awareness and doing campaigns to sensetising the youth regarding the elder care needs and the need to make them feel safe.
- Create engagement and share updates for the elderly through one of its kind and first multi-media newspaper exclusively for the elders called, Saanjhi Saanjh.
